After a rich career doing editorial photography and photo illustration, with thousands of photos having been published, I'm concentrating now on my fine art photos. I hope you enjoy viewing a few of them here.
I liked to write, and after earning a BA Degree in English and dong postgraduate work, I was a newspaper reporter and editor in Chicago for 10 years. The idea of taking my own photos to go with my own stories attracted me, so I learned photography through other news photographers. Then I started my own freelance business.
Subjects included press conferences, street riots, public relations, advertising, industrial settings and--my favorite--photo illustrations for publishers to use as book and magazine covers.
